Thanksgiving

My whole family and I went over to my aunts house to eat a thanksgiving lunch. When we got there pretty much my whole family was already there so we hurried inside hoping that they hadn’t already started eating. Luckily they hadn’t and were far from being ready to eat. While lunch was being prepared by the adults my cousins Hayden, Davis, Cooper and my brother Riley and I went upstairs to hang put for awhile. After about 20 minutes we were called down to eat. I was the first to get there and began to LOAD my plate with food. Sadly enough my aunt made me put back some of the food I had but I just went back for more. After I we had finished eating I could definitely say I had a great thanksgiving!

Homework….

I actually enjoy homework! I know that probably sounds weird coming out of a 7th graders mouth. I like it becuase it gives me something educational to do when I have nothing else to do. I also enjoy homework for a couple of reasons one of which i alread listed. But also when you get good and know what you are doing it can be fun! I looooooooove homework! especialy math, I think its fun and easy! I usually do my math homework 1st becuase I like it the most and any homework really helps you learn about that subject and tells the teacher if you know what you are doing.

Halloween

The wind was howling furiously, leavng leaves skittering accross the street. As I walked up to the big, crooked, old black door I heard a noise somewhere off on the otherside of the porch. Unwillingly, I slowly turned my head towards the noise… weew! Nothing was there, I was so relieved. I nervously began to climb up the stairs to that creepy old door.
I heard that weird scraping nosie again.
I was begginning to get really creeped out. I swallowed hard and just as i got to the door, I heard the noise for the 3rd time! Only this time, That awful scraping noise was right behind me! Slowly I turned around and…. Meow! That was it! I jumped up and bolted off the porch, into the dead, yellow grass and into the street. As I walked down the street I told myself” I am never going back to that house again!”

Rain

This past Saturday as you should know, it rained all day and all nght long. I was playing games on my ipad when the storm began. I thought it would only last for a couple of minutes….I was wrong. After an hour or so I went and looked out my window and… I was shocked at what I saw. My driveway was covered with gravel from the gravel bed next to it( which I would have to clean up later…) and I heard the hard drumming of rain and the bangs of lightning and the booms of thunder.

Austin City Limits

Last Sunday I went to ACL. ACL stands for Austin city limits. Last Sunday, when I went to ACL, that was the first time I had ever been to ACl let alone any concert. At first it was a surprise what it was like and it was REALLY loud. Soon after I got there though, I began to adjust to my surroundings and all of the noise. I went with my mom, my brother, my moms boyfriend and his daughter. The first band we went to see was France Ferdinand, I think that’s what it was. Anyway, he was great! he played tons of songs that were catchy and had a nice beat. Some of the other bands we went to see were Phoenix and Eric Church. I stayed ay ACL from around 4 to 9pm. By the time it was time to go, I was really tired. I got home and fell fast asleep.
